Chivas Blending Competition 2019 Application Form (Public Session)

Official Rules of Competition

To Participate One Must:
- Be 18 or older to enter.
- Must disclose and submit your own blending recipe to Whisky Magazine by 28th Feb 2019 after your successful application to
marketing@whiskymaghk.com or your application will be considered as unsuccessful.
- Make a 100mL of your final blend for judges to taste.
- Present a maximum of 10-minute blend story to judges.
- Scoring weight: 40% for the final blend and 60% for the blend story.

Terms and Condition

- Competition period and winner selection: “Chivas Blending Competition 2019” will take place at the Drinks & Co on 9th March, 2019. The competition will begin at 10:00am-1:00pm. Entrants will have 20 minutes to make their best blends and 10 minutes to present their blends. The winners will be announced at the conclusion of the competition once scores have been tabulated. All application forms must be received by 28th February, 2019. Only 10 applicants will be selected to enter the finalist. The first 15 applicants can enjoy a discount offer of Chivas Blending Masterclass (original price $688, after discount $350). - Eligibility: The Contest is open only to individuals who are Hong Kong SAR residents who are 18 years or older at the date of entry.
- Limit: Limit one entry per person. All entries become the property of the event producer; and will not be returned.
- General: By entering this competition, applicant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, and agrees to the use of his/her name and recipe submission in any form of publicity or marketing determined by the event producer. Applicants waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Official Rules.
